MDM members maybe treating tourists from abroad. In event of a mishap the patient may file a medical-negligence suit in their country.
If the patient is successful in his/her suit the court awards and legal costs in their country far exceed those awarded by Malaysian courts. MDM members are reminded that your subscriptions are based on Malaysian court awards. Members are reminded that MDM Bhd will only indemnify you for Malaysian legal costs and Malaysian court awards.
